The occasion has been marked quietly with the group continuing its varied round of countryside tasks.Details: During the past ten years we've cut down acres of scrub, created a conflagration of bonfires, planted thousands of trees, built more steps than you can count, put in gates, stiles and bridges, cleared out many ponds and streams and generally had a good time.
2011-01-09 17:19:22 FULL WINTER DIARY A programme of tasks has been organised for the next three months. They include hedgelaying on the fringes of east Brighton under the guidance of local rangers.
Details: There will also be return visits to Lullington Heath and Butterfly Conservation at Laughton as well as more work days with Lewes District Council.
